Buy-Side Equities Trader

About the role

Execute equity trades across domestic and international markets, collaborating with portfolio managers and investment teams to implement strategies while balancing liquidity, timing, and market impact. Monitor market conditions and execution performance, maintain broker relationships, use trading systems and market data, and ensure trade allocations and related processes are accurate and compliant. Candidates should have 2–5 years of equity trading experience, preferably at a buy-side investment firm, hedge fund, or asset manager, and a strong understanding of equity markets, market structure, order types, and execution strategies. The role also requires analytical ability, attention to detail, effective communication and collaboration, and familiarity with electronic trading platforms, order management systems, and market data tools; a bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related discipline is preferred.
