Real-Time Power Trader / Dispatcher

About the role

Execute real-time, asset-backed power trading strategies, monitor SCADA/EMS systems, and optimize asset revenue through economic dispatch and market participation. Analyze market positions and large datasets, submit bids to ancillary services markets, and coordinate with market participants and ISO operators while meeting time-sensitive deadlines. The role seeks an undergraduate degree in economics, finance, engineering, business administration, or equivalent experience, along with foundational knowledge of the North American power industry, trading, and risk management. Candidates should demonstrate trading or analytical ability, strong quantitative and interpersonal skills, and flexibility to work 12-hour rotating shifts; Python, R, or MATLAB experience is preferred.
