About the role
Architect and build scalable, low-latency backend systems for a high-performance order management platform, supporting trade execution, allocation, and post-trade workflows. Develop broker integrations and cloud-native, event-driven services while guiding technical direction, mentoring engineers, and establishing engineering standards. Requires 8 or more years of software engineering experience, strong Java and Spring Boot skills, and experience building complex, high-throughput distributed systems. Candidates should also have expertise in concurrency, JVM performance, AWS, Kafka, SQL and NoSQL databases, and system architecture; trading, OMS, FIX, Quarkus, or React experience is preferred.
