Fixed Income Trader

About the role

Execute fixed-income security purchases and sales profitably, considering order size, market supply, and prevailing conditions. Monitor market trends, maintain accurate transaction records, negotiate with brokers and dealers, and provide timely pricing, trading, and market recommendations to investment and management groups. Requires six months to two years of trading experience in the investment and securities industry and a high school diploma or equivalent. Preferred qualifications include fixed-income market and pricing knowledge, trading proficiency, familiarity with exchange and electronic trading activity, strong relationship and communication skills, and experience with SQL or Python and Power BI or Tableau.
